NCAS/CGAM staff visit Japan - Feb 2004.

NCAS/ CGAM staff visited the Earth Simulator Centre during 23rd –28th February 2004, to port the new version of the UK climate model and to demonstrate its working to Earth Simulator technical staff, who are assisting in the technical advancement of the model on the Earth Simulator. This work will also build the infrastructure and tools for the scientists in Japan funded under NERC and DEFRA grants. This team at the Earth Simulator would then share the same tools as their colleagues in the UK.
